The Rochester High Falls International Film
Festival showcases quality films of all kinds from around the world, each
film highlighting a special contribution by a woman in some creative capacity behind the camera (please note: this does not disqualify male directors).
This year we are continuing
an open call for work for both children's and youth programming.
Conditions of Entry:
- Early-bird: SEPT. 15, 2007 Standard Fee: $25; discount if apply through Without a Box (WAB): $20
- Regular: OCTOBER 20, 2007; Standard Fee: $30; WAB discount: $25
- Late: JANUARY 15, 2008; Standard Fee: $35; WAB discount: $30
- withoutabox Extended Deadline: FEBRUARY 15, 2008: Standard Fee: $50; WAB discount: $35
- Shorts and feature
length accepted.
- All genres welcome.
- Male directed films eligible, but film must have a woman in a key role behind the camera (for example, producer, screenwriter, animator, DP). Special consideration will be given to films directed by women.
- Screeners should be either DVD-NTSC, DVD-PAL or VHS-NTSC.
- All submissions must be accompanied by a completed entry form.
- All preview tapes
must be cued to start of film.
- No honorarium is available.
- Only preview tapes received
with a self addressed stamped mailer will be returned.
- For confirmation of receipt of your entry, please enclose a self-addressed, stamped postcard.
- All possible care
will be taken in the handling of entries. However, the Rochester High Falls International Film Festival
cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to entries
while they are in our possession or in transit.
